Which Bollywood Actress has Sexiest Butt and Lips in Bollywood

Katrina Kaif It's no secret that Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is naturally well endowed at all the right places.

Even the half-blind can see what a poll conducted by a website seems
to be suggesting – that Katrina Kaif
has the sexiest butt, even sexier
than the behinds of Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Biel, Beyonce Knowles,
Malaika Arora and Yana Gupta . Even the much touted Mallika Sherawat
couldn't match the deadly derriere of Katrina.

However, when it comes to luscious lips, Katrina had to concede to
Priyanka Chopra whose natural pout is as eye-grabbing as Kat's butt.

Katrina also emerged as the favourite of the voters as the celebrity
they want to see as the ambassador of a soft drink. It appears that
thirsts aren't quenched until people see Kat selling the beverage.
She, however, had tough competition from Deepika Padukone , Asin and
Genelia D'Souza , each of who endorses different carbonated drinks.

From being chosen as the sexiest Asian woman in the world in a poll by
a UK-based weekly last year to being named the most googled Bollywood
actress, Katrina has steadily made way into people's hearts through
her beauty and her work.

Undoubtedly amongst the best lookers in Hindi film industry, Katrina
though has yet to make her mark as an actress with talent. She says
people's perception will change after they see her in Prakash Jha's
Rajniti and Rajkumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani .

John Abraham and Bipasha Basu Spotted at Tarun Mansukhani's birthday Party

Movie Review : Meri Padosan

Meri Padosan: Utter rubbish

Rating: 0.5 out of 5*

Starring: Sadhika Randhawa, Sarwar Ahuja, Sanjay Mishra, Khayali and Heena Tasleem

Director: Prakash Saini

Viju (Sanjay Mishra) is a middle class man, a clerk happily married to Kavita (Sadhika). But their happy married life gets disturbed with the arrival of their new neighbours. Amongst them is Shyam Gopal Varma (Sarwar) who is an aspiring filmmaker. With him are his two buddies – Prem who works as a media promoter and Aslam a private bank employee. These three friends' loud quarrels taking almost every night leaves the peace loving couple annoyed. When Shyam learns through an ad of a TV channel about a contest about a 'real film' to be made and submitted, he immediately rushes to the channel office only to learn that he has 500 more competitors. Struggling to find the right subject, when Shyam sees his next door couple engaged in a high strung display of physical affection, he then and there decides to make a 'real film' on the real couple but without their knowledge. What chaos it all leads to forms the rest of the film.

Let us get it straight, this film is a C grader aimed at titillating the audience of the smaller centers so one is not expecting any sensible stuff in here. But the makers seem to have taken even their loyal audience in such centers for granted by providing utter rubbish in the name of cinema. Tasteless double intended jokes, pathetic script, non existent direction and bad acting, you name it and you get it all in plenty. The producer Ashok Bagla, to satisfy his acting urge tortures you with his poor attempts at acting by giving himself a role in this film.

Sadhika Randhawa is known better for only one thing – her skin show. Her acting skills are still a doubt despite having been around in the industry for a good decade. Well she does what she is best at. Sanjay Mishra has got his impeccable comic timing right yet again and he is the only reason we have given half a star in the rating. Sarwar Ahuja, the Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj needs to KHOJ (discover) his acting skills as soon as possible or he will be soon extinct. Khayali the laughter challenge dude is simply irritating. Heena Tasleem adds more glam quotient with her hot moves.

Don't even think of watching this movie unless you intend to get yourself a paid torture.

The film has already been completely shot except for this song sequence and has been awaiting Shah Rukh's arrival on the scene to mark its 100% completion.

Now that Shah Rukh has given dates, the song would be shot in May. There was some balance shoot that was left; however even that was completed on a cruise ship in Malaysia last week under the supervision of action director Amar Shetty.''

Further confirms Viveck Vaswani who has been patiently waiting for the film to reach its finishing mark.

Electric dream machines: Are they really the future of motoring?

Motorists will be given £5,000 to switch to electric cars, but are they really the future of motoring?

Motorists are to be given up to £5,000 to buy less polluting electric cars in a long-awaited official drive to a low-carbon future.

Under the £250m incentive scheme, drivers will receive Government subsidies to buy a new generation of cars that can be charged up by normal power sockets in homes and garages.

Ministers promised that the funding – first announced as a concession for approving Heathrow's third runway in January – would make green cars practicable for everyday drivers.

"Cutting road transport CO2 emissions is a key element of tackling climate change. Less than 0.1 per cent of the UK's 26 million cars are electric, so there is a huge untapped potential to reduce emissions," said the Transport Secretary Geoff Hoon.

"The scale of incentives we're announcing today will mean that an electric car is a real option for motorists as well as helping to make the UK a world leader in low-carbon transport."

Opposition politicians and transport and environmental campaigners gave the plan, revealed by the Prime Minister in The Independent last week, a lukewarm welcome, accusing the Government of doing too little too late to move to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from petrol and diesel cars.

Britain has agreed to cut CO2 emissions by 80 per cent by 2050. The Climate Change Committee, an independent body established under the Climate Change Act to advise the Government on setting carbon budgets, has recommended an initial 42 per cent cut by 2020. The committee is chaired by Lord Turner of Ecchinswell – Adair Turner, the former director general of the Confederation of British Industry.

Launching the programme at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife, where he drove an electric Mini, Lord Mandelson, the Business Secretary, said: "Britain has taken a world lead in setting ambitious targets for carbon reduction. Low-carbon vehicles will play a key role in cutting emissions."

He added that the Government money would spur British industry to invest in low-carbon technology.

In the past two years the Government has committed £123m towards research and development into low-carbon technology and £20m to encourage local authorities and the Royal Mail to run electric vehicles. Under its new £250m scheme, which will take effect from 2011, the Government will back "plug in" cars, rather than existing hybrid models such as the Toyota Prius.

Most of the money – £230m – will provide motorists with grants of between £2,000 and £5,000 to buy wholly electric and hybrid cars. A further £20m will fund charging points in two or three "electric cities", making longer journeys feasible.

Ministers hope that the scheme will go a long way to tackling the limited range and high cost of electric cars. At present there are few electric-only models available, the most popular of which is the G-Wiz, which must be charged every 75 miles and has a top speed of 51mph. But over the next year, new models from Mini and Smart – and a plug-in Prius – are expected.

According to statistics from the Department for Transport, of the 28 million cars on Britain's roads in 2007, the latest year for which figures are available, just 2,000 were electric and 16,000 hybrid. The new scheme would fund around 65,000 new electric cars – more than three times the existing number, but still only 0.3 per cent of the total.

Motoring organisations warned that the infratrastructure for electric cars would have to transformed to make them viable. "For electric vehicles to revolutionise our cities we need infrastructure, incentives, clean electricity and affordable, practical vehicles," said the AA's president Edmund King.

While welcoming the new funding, motor traders and manufacturers called for Government support to ensure that the beleaguered car industry remains intact during the downturn and can build more energy-efficient cars when the economy improves.

They also called for motorists to be offered incentives to scrap older, polluting cars and buy new ones. A similar scheme has recently been successfully introduced in Germany, and a version may form part of the Chancellor Alistair Darling's Budget next week.

Paul Everitt, chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, said: "The motor industry is in the middle of its greatest economic challenge and immediate action to preserve the UK sector in the short-term is essential if we are to stake our claim in the global development of low-carbon technology for the future."

Opposition politicians responded to the latest announcement by claiming that they would take tougher action to reduce transport pollution. The Conservatives pledged to build a national network of electric charging points, improve the national grid to cope with extra demand from electric vehicles, and divert £200m from road charging into other green transport schemes.

In a speech on green technology yesterday, the shadow Chancellor George Osborne complained that Britain was lagging behind Germany, France, Japan and the US. "Instead of leading the world on green technology, Britain is trailing far behind. So we must all take the Prime Minister's latest announcement on electric cars with a pinch of salt."

According to the Liberal Democrat Transport spokesman Norman Baker, the announcement was like adding "a small dab of green paint to the rusty hulk of the Government's failed transport policy". He said: "Discounts on electric cars are all very well for those who can afford to buy a new car but it cannot hide the fact that the Government has forced up rail fares and destroyed many local bus services."

At the request of The Independent, the Campaign for Better Transport suggested another way of spending the Government's £250m. It proposed allocating £100m for buses, trebling the Rural Bus Subsidy Grant, £50m for 15 sustainable travel towns, £50m for another 50 train carriages spread across the 10 most congested lines, £30m for 50,000 cycle stands, and £20m for car clubs at new developments and workplaces.

Its climate change and roads campaigner Richard George said: "While electric vehicles have a role to play in reducing transport's carbon footprint, we're still waiting to hear how the Government plans to provide enough green energy to make this an environmental initiative. Throwing £5,000 at people to buy a new car feels more like a bail-out for the motoring industry than the sustainable transport strategy we need."

The green cars

G-Wiz

The market leader. Its fragility was revealed by a Top Gear crash test. Seating for two adults and two small children. Old-fashioned batteries in the £8,500 version give a 40-mile range and 50mph top speed. A more advanced £15,000 version will travel 70 miles and can be recharged in 90 minutes.

Mini E

The E sacrifices two seats to the battery stack. Performance is brisk – this Mini will reach 62mph in 8.5 seconds and go on to 95 mph. It has a range of 150 miles. Some 500 have been supplied on lease to customers in California and New York at $850 a month. Made in Oxford and Munich, 40 may be leased in the UK, says Mini owner BMW.

Chevrolet Volt

A version of this, the Vauxhall Ampera, should follow the Chevy's launch in the US in 2011. As a "series plug-in hybrid" it generates its own electricity as well as taking it from the mains, and uses a small petrol motor to power items such as air conditioning. Healthy UK demand will help the case for making it at Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port works. Practical, but range still limited to 40 miles.

Smart Fortwo EV

Currently undergoing trials, it may go on sale next year. Expect a top speed of 70mph, a range of 70 miles. Price to be determined.

Tesla Roadster

Lotus helped develop this sexy model, which hits 60mph in a Ferrari-bashing 3.9 seconds and has a range of 250 miles. The snag? Its price – £96,000. It is available to order now; UK deliveries next month. Tesla are also said to be planning a saloon.

Aixam Mega City

This is a French take on the concept and has similar performance to the basic G-Wiz. It's conventional rather than stylish, and the finish is a little rough. Available as a two- or four-seater.

Akshay pips King Khan as Bollywood’s No.1 Taxpayer

Singh is definitely king. At least for the tax man. Film star Akshay Kumar has emerged as the top taxpayer in Bollywood for 2008-09, narrowly pipping Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) to the next position. Kumar paid a total advance tax of Rs 31 crore in the financial year against Rs 12.5 crore in 2007-08, a whopping 148% more than what he paid in the previous financial year, thanks to his recent box office hits. That means Kumar’s total earnings for the period were a tad above Rs 100 crore, On the other hand, King Khan’s tax payout declined marginally — by 1.69% — to Rs 30.9 crore in 2008-09 compared to Rs 31.5 crore in the fiscal before. Together, Kumar and Khan account for nearly 60% of the total Rs 107 crore forked out by Bollywood’s top 10 advance taxpayers.
However, the biggest fall was Big B’s. Amitabh Bachchan made it to the bottom of the top 10 advance tax payers list, with a modest Rs 1.25 crore, sliding 74.77% from the previous financial year. His daughter-in-law, was 6th on the list, paying more advance tax than both the Bachchans. While she handed over Rs 4.75 crore in advance tax (10.46% more than 2007-08), Abhishek Bachchan paid Rs 3.2 crore in 2008-09, marking a decline of 42.86%.
Salman Khan’s earnings saw the second-highest growth after Kumar in terms of percentage — 107.41% more than last year. But in terms of the actual amount, he made it only to third place with a total advance tax payout of Rs 14 crore.
Saif Ali Khan and his lady love Kareena Kapoor also figure in the list of top 10 Bollywood taxpayers. Khan paid Rs 8.63 crore (an impressive 64% more than last year) while Kapoor — the only other female film star to make it to the list besides Rai-Bachchan — forked out Rs 3.7 crore, nearly 2.78% more than last year.

Sushmita Sen’s Boyfriend Place Is Once Again Vacant

Mudassa Aziz and Sushmita Sen made news last year when reports that the director had moved into the actresses’ apartment hit the stands. But it would seem that less than a year down the line, Sush has lost that loving feeling towards Aziz. The duo was first linked together romantically when Sen worked in Aziz’s debut film Dulha Mil Gaya with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. It was even suggested that Aziz had managed to build a wonderful rapport with Sush’s adopted daughter, Renee.

There were numerous mixed reports but the one constant was that Sush wasn’t happy with Aziz for constantly talking about her in interviews. Soon, the star decided to maintain her distance and just remain friends. Adding to Sush’s stress was that Dulha Mil Gaya, which has been on the floors for close to three years now, is still showing no signs of completion. Unfortunately, Aziz’s inability to control his fascination for the beauty led to Sush severing all ties. When questioned, Aziz is reported to have simply brushed aside the issue.

Priyanka Chopra back to work after 3 days in hospital

Mumbai, April 14 (IANS) Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who was admitted to a hospital here for a stomach infection and exhaustion, has been discharged and is back on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker's "Whats Your Raashee?".

The actress was Saturday admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

"
Priyanka had fainted while shooting for 'What's Your Rashee?'. She stayed at home for a few days but when her condition didn't improve, she was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for a few tests," a source close to the actress told IANS.

"She was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Monday) and instead of taking a break, she insisted on resuming work. She is adamant about completing 'What's Your Rashee?' by the first week of May so that her other projects do not get delayed," added the source.

In Gowariker's romantic comedy, Priyanka is playing 12 different characters. The actress, who is riding high on the success of "Fashion" and "Dostana", has teamed up with Hurman S. Baweja in the movie.

Based on a Gujarati novel "
Kimball Ravenswood" by noted playwright Madhu Rye, the film revolves around a young Gujarati man in pursuit of his dream girl, who he must find within 10 days to save his family from an unforeseen ordeal.

Akshay Kumar avoids SRK in SA?

Last year Akshay avidly supported the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Daredevils. This year, though he is currently shooting in South Africa, he won't be supporting any of the teams. Even though the IPL involves some members of his own fraternity like Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta, Akshay intends to maintain his distance. When quizzed on this matter, he was evasive, “I am shooting during the nights for a TV show. I would like to spend my day time catching up on my sleep, or spending time with my wife and kids who are also here with me.”

But when we probed further we realised that Akshay was excercising caution when it came to being associated with any event featuring Shah Rukh. A source said, “There has been a constant attempt to pitch Akshay against the Khans. So far, he has fought a lonely battle to develop and maintain his brand name. Since two of his films have not done well this year, attacks to devalue his equity are stronger. There's a strong attempt to demean his latest film Kambakkht Ishq. He even knows where these attempts are emerging from.”

Akshay said diplomatically, “Right now, I do not want to say anything. I know exactly who these people are and I wish they would do their own work and let me do mine. The day I decide to speak out about them, they won't know where to hide. I've worked really hard on Kambakkht Ishq and I won't let anyone spoil it for me.”
