Salman, Katrina haunted by Fake MMS Video

Bad days are going for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Just after the split rumors between both of them there is something much uglier.
The internet is flooded with a fake MMS video featuring look-alike of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The video is made on a cell-phone in Canada and very rapidly searching on web world.
Salman and Katrina Kaif have maintained a silence over this fake MMS issue and have decided to let it die its own death.

Bipasha’s Ear Panic

Things keep happening to her. Yes I am talking about Bipasha Basu who has said the same thing about herself. First, it was some insect and then it was a small piece of a pebble and now it is a piece of cotton. She had plugged cotton into her ears as she wanted to avoid the sound of a large explosion. The cotton went inside her ear and would not come out. After wards it was made to come out but Bips got panicky. And now she even dreads the sound of a mosquito near her ears and she sleeps with her ears covered.

The world's most handsome man

British heartthrob Robert Pattison, famous for playing bloodsucking vampire Edward Cullen in 2008's Twilight, has been overwhelmingly named 'The Most Handsome Man in the World', in a poll conducted by high society magazine Vanity Fair.
Of a total 271,000 some votes, Robert snared 137,946, 51% overall, to blow away the competition.
Of the 18 men on the list, Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras came in second with 15 per cent, followed by American hunk Brad Pitt , with 12 per cent. Johnny Depp was fourth with 7 per cent.
Others in consideration, who barely registered a blip, included George Clooney, David Beckham, Tom Brady and Hugh Jackman.
Pattinson, who is currently filming for 2010's Remember Me in NYC, will reportedly appear on the cover of Vanity Fair to celebrate his win.
Recently, in a similar poll conducted about women, Brad Pitt's better half, Angelina Jolie, took home the crown. The polls were conducted on-line, and were designed to ensure that users could only vote once from each computer.

Mallika Sherawat bonds with Yanni?

Mallika Sherawat is in news again for eliciting an invite from Yanni to one of his concerts. She’s also asked him to dedicate a song to her. But Yanni has never done something like this before. So it’s a question whether he will or not? Mallika has been shuttling to LA for the post-production and promotion activities of her film Hisss .Recently at ‘The Ivy’ in LA, while dinning with the producers of ‘Hisss’, Mallika met Yanni and Hollywood music producer Ric Wake, who has worked with famous international artists like Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey in the past. Yanni and Wake are teaming up for a gala musical night titled ‘Yanni’s Voices’ on June 23 in LA. The video of the dinner is available on Youtube. Another buzz doing the rounds is that Mallika might accompany Yanni when he will perform in India during his upcoming world tour. The actress might show her jhatkas-matkas on the stage.
Yanni became a household name in India when he performed at the Taj Mahal in March 1997 and was one of the few Western artists permitted to perform and record there. Earlier, Mallika also met R&B singer Usher in LA, who has reportedly promised to dedicate a song to her.

Anti-smoking lobby annoyed by SRK

Chain smoker Shahrukh Khan can't keep away from the cigs, even when he's at IPL. The smoking act has irked the anti-smoking lobby who have already banned footage of smoking celebrities on television.

NCAS [South African Council Against Smoking] informed their counterpart, The National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE), "We have sent the details to Supersport, who are the official broadcasters of the IPL, and the NCAS is in the process of soliciting an agreement that they will not show anyone smoking."

The NCAS are to make a No Smoking announcement throughout the match, and SRK has been informed that if he is caught smoking again, he will be shown out of the stadium.

Kajol not part of Ajay Devgan’s next venture

Mumbai, Kajol, who is busy shooting for her friend Karan Johar’s upcoming film “My Name Is Khan”, will not be a part of her actor husband Ajay Devgan’s new directorial venture.

“I’m directing a film in mid-2009. There is no role for Kajol in my next film. The leading lady’s role in that film doesn’t suit her,” Devgan told IANS.

His directorial debut “U Me Aur Hum” was critically praised for its brave portrayal of the ravages of Alzheimer’s.

Devgan, who has not done an action film for long now, said: “My next film as a director would be an action film with an undercurrent of dark humour. Even Milan Luthria’s film that I’m acting in is an action film. I believe audiences want to see me back in action. In fact when I made my entry balanced between two speeding cars in ‘Golmaal Returns’ people immediately remembered my entry in my first film ‘Phool Aur Kante’. The action in my directorial venture will be something unusual.”

Recalling how he broke many of his bones while performing stunts, the actor said: “Action scenes have become much safer now. Earlier we had to do it all by ourselves. Now when you jump from the fifth floor you’re harnessed. Earlier you just did it, or didn’t.”

He also complained of the stories being made out of his bonding with actor Salman Khan. The two actors recently completed shooting for Vipul Shah’s “London Dreams” in which Devgan plays a musician.

“We always have been friends ever since we did ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ together. But we didn’t go out partying and pubbing every night together, as was reported. And he didn’t present me with any paintings. Where did that come from? I’m right now neck-deep in producing my next film and putting together my next directorial venture,” Devgan said.

Devgan, who altered his looks for “London Dreams”, said: “I needed to look cooler. So I cut my hair, grew a stubble. Salman and I play very close friends, so naturally we had to have a certain amount of bonding between us. But that’s it. What I really enjoyed was shooting in London at one go. No distractions. Vipul is one of the most organised filmmakers I’ve worked with. And I didn’t get much of a chance to miss my family. Kajol and my daughter came for a visit.”

Hot Bipasha Basu real reason for global warming

Macau, Bipasha Basu should be India’s environment minister because she was “the real reason for global warming all over the world.”

This was the choice of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards hosts Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh who unveiled their dream cabinet before a packed auditorium at the Chinese resort here as the annual event marked its 10th anniversary.

The comic duo announced their choice that they said should have been appointed by Bollywood after the recent elections, much to the delight of the 15,000 strong crowd here Saturday night.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker should be agriculture minister for what he had done for the rural community with his hit film “Lagaan”; Raakesh Roshan, the coal minister because his successful film “Koyla” had shown that he knows everything there is to know about the black product; and Katrina Kaif should be the youth affairs minister because every youth wanted to talk to her, the pair added.

Aamir Khan should be home minister because all he did for eleven months in every year was sit at home and then just release a single film in the last month.

Akshay Kumar, shown on screen with his face on a Rs1,000 note, should be the finance minister because with the money he makes he could finance almost the entire population.

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Freida Pinto would do well in the post of minister for overseas and foreign affairs because she knew exactly how to start an affair abroad, Irani jested.

Always on the defensive, Salman Khan would make the ideal defence minister and Malika Sherawat could occupy the new position of minister for the upliftment of the downtrodden.

Others in the Irani/Deshmukh cabinet would be Sunny Deol as law and transport minister ; Yash and Aditya Chopra of ‘Punjab Power’ fame for their film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” as joint power ministers; and Viveik Oberoi as telecommunications minister because he knew how to make calls quickly when necessary.
